Christmas is nearly here and 2017 is drawing to a close. Now seems like a good time to reflect on the past year, and boy, what a year it's been! Below is my 2017 in a nutshell.
I recently had the pleasure of designing the theme and invites for a wedding. Lib and Joe were looking for a simple, playful invite to be printed on kraft-paper. I illustrated a line graphic depicting a simple scene based on the wedding venue, and used this to create a rustic, playful identity for the invite and additional materials to be used on the day.
Combing my passions: Cooking, eating and drawing.
Holy Guacamole, has it really been an entire year since my last blog post? That's too long for certain. It's 2017 and time for some change.
In 2016 I switched to using a wacom, picked up a new bouldering hobby, ate my body weight in tofu and spent approximately 6 million hours commuting to and from work. I left my job before Christmas, with the aim to follow new design pursuits and pick up some fresh inspiration and skills, and where better to get inspiration than the beautiful city that is New York!
I'll be here to start the year; photographing, drawing and designing my way through Winter. Oh and if you happen to need a designer over the coming months, then please, get in touch!
Here's to new adventures.
It's that time of year again! Well, not quite, but it's pretty close. I've created two Christmas card designs which you can purchase by dropping me an email. They're available per card (£2) or in packs of 5. (£6)
A few shots from a truly fantastic trip and the first of a few Japan related posts.
I've entered the Ohh Deer Pillow Fight! For a limited time, you can purchase my 'Cat Nap' design from the lovely Ohh Deer site. Any likes and shares my design gets will help with my chances of winning the competition - so if you've got a few seconds, and like my design, please head over to Ohh Deer and like/share away!
I spent the weekend drawing. Once again, I found myself drawing cats. Did I mention I like cats?
Here's some cats. I really like cats.
